We meet here for our morning meetings, shared reading, group lessons,
and sharing circles. It is the hub of our classroom.

The Writing Pad
This is our publishing center. Kids gather here to write and practice literacy skills. A variety of writing supplies
are available.
Comfy reading nooks
We read a lot in our classroom. There are many different comfy reading
spots around our room... a couch, bean bags, big pillows and comfy chairs.

The Reading Hut
This is our special reading hut made from bamboo. It is a favorite place for kids to
sit back and enjoy a good book.

Work Pad Zones
Learners work independently and in groups at our work pads. Children can choose whether to work at
tables or with clipboards around the room. Children choose a work area that meets their individual needs.
